Our Client:

Our client, a leading player in the Maritime and Shipping business looking for an Operations focused individual with prior experience in ship-management and vessel management activities not limited to: Ensuring documentation are prepared and submitted timely and accurately, the role will be responsible for KPIs and Sales targets meeting desired results, partners closely with internal departments ie captains and crew at the port to increase cash sales to vessels.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager/ Port Manager based in Singapore office, the successful candidate should be a business savvy and customer service oriented.

The Responsibilities:

* Build positive working relations with captains and crew at the port to increase cash sales to the vessels
* On-time delivery - Ensure all deliveries are complete and on time, documentation is completed and returned to the correct department and all assets are returned to the company after supply
* Work towards sales targets and ensure desired Sales and Individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved
* Ensure customer satisfaction of products and services to reduce number of goods returned
* Business development efforts - Increase vessels visits for business development activities to increase client portfolio and increase cash sales
* Build relationships with key agents, husbandry companies and port authorities to aid in the smooth running of operations
* Keep abreast of best practice, trends, market intelligence and competitor activities
* Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality, Health, Safety Environment (QHSE), Ethics & Compliance and Food Safety (if applicable) policies

The Requirements:

* Diploma /Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Maritime and similar discipline
* Minimum 3 years of relevant Shipping Operations or Business development and Sales experience in a Maritime and vessel management environment is essential
* Knowledge of Market Port Legislation and Operating Procedures
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong ability to communicate with internal stakeholders
* Possess strong strategic and analytical skills, verbal & written communication and presentation skills
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook
* Must possess a valid Singapore driving licence
* Must have flexibility to travel within base country location
* Open to work in a Port location
