Our Client:

Our client, an international organization that provides various services to the Marine & Offshore, Oil & Gas and Energy industry is on the lookout for an experience Structural Engineer to join their Engineering team in Singapore.

Due to an increase in project opportunities in the Asia region have led to the need to expand their Engineering department in Singapore. The Structural Engineer manages the end-to-end daily technical aspect.

The Role:

* Review drawings of marine and offshore structures for compliance with Classification and Statutory requirements for meeting applicable Rules/Regulations/Codes (e.g. Class Rules, SOLAS, MARPOL, IMO MODU CODE, API etc.)
* Perform structural strength/fatigue assessment using Finite Element Analysis
* Perform stability analysis using software common in the marine industry such as GHS or NAPA

The Requirements:

* Preferably Diploma or Degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering or Structural Engineering
* 2-6 years of experience as a Naval Architecture or Structural Engineer
