Job Description

OUR CLIENT:

Our client is an operator of tank terminals for oil, chemicals and petrochemicals.

The position will be on 3 years fixed term contract, and will be eligible to receive company benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans
* Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phase and elements, reviewing bids from clients
* Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards, completing technical studies
* Travel to project sites to gather information on materials needed, labour requirements and other factors
* Read, design, plan and technical documents to prepare cost estimates
* Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems
* Collaborate with engineers, design and construction team, owners and contractors on project execution
* Use sophisticated computer software to process improvement
* Prepare estimates for client review and approval
* Develop project plans for the duration of the project and revision plans
* Accurately predicting the cost, size, duration of future construction projects

REQUIREMENTS:

* Electrical Engineering degree
* At least 3-5 years in project management, preferably with experience in expansion projects for Downstream Industries (Petrochemicals, Refineries etc.)
* Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings, local building codes and safety laws correctly
* Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, willing to work on a flexible schedule and work in a team
* Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
