About our client:

Our client is a full suite mobile communication & mobile money service provider that allows users to enjoy mobile communication services while at the same time, empowering them to manage their mobile data as a digital asset. Their aim is to build a global community by giving power and autonomy to the people to generate mobile data and enjoy borderless mobile connectivity without intermediaries. Our client is powered by a blockchain platform that automates operational backend processes.

Job Description:

This role will report to the founder of the company, and you will take charge in managing business opportunities by matching the current market needs. Your will be responsible in ensuring the technologies provided by the company is able to deliver the solution to generate revenue.

Your knowledge in the telecom industry will be essential. You will be responsible in leading the effort in sales and business development. You will manage opportunity leads within your territory and deliver result. This person has to be competitive, open-minded, accountable, and gritty. Your leadership spans into managing partnership, commercial deals, and building channels.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Identifying, developing, and managing regional partnerships on company's total offering.

* Managing and developing their distribution and channels.

* Relationship management (developing trust) with critical stakeholders (customers, partners, vendors)

* Developing and updating sales strategy as required in creating a business plan to acquire market share.

* Leading and handling the sales process management (identifying leads, forecasting, closing)

* Be part of the team to collaborate on delivering won project solutions

* Handling accounts to ensure satisfaction of customer and improve future service

* Able to upsell business opportunity to increase the probability of higher profits by project sold; View the business from a financial perspective to truly evaluate profit and loss.

The Successful Applicant

We invite an experienced Business Development leader to join this dynamic firm, with a keen eye for improvement and making impact regionally. To be successful you must come with:

* Ideally with more than 10 years of Business Development experience within the Telco industry is ideal.

* Familiar with sales management to communicate goals and objectives.

* Strong communication management (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders and senior business leaders of internal departments and customers.

* Gritty and able to escalate (right person, right time, and appropriately).

* Familiar in fostering, promoting, and strengthening relationships with key customers, telecom/wireless providers, and vendors.

* Familiar in evaluating competitor's capability - as well as between suppliers and partners.

* Ability to work independently

* Experience in making decisions that has financial impact on the profitability of the proposed initiatives.
