Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of mechanical products, services and solutions for various industrial applications.

The Responsibilities:

* Accountable to deliver individual sales targets through sales of vacuum pumps, systems, parts and services in Singapore
* Develop new customer base and manage key accounts in the following market segments: Food processing, Medical, Biomedical, Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Semiconductor etc
* Collaborate with customers daily to conduct and coordinate sales activities
* In-charge of quarterly sales forecasting and meeting monthly and yearly targets
* Track and report sales activities and submit period reports promptly
* Attend to sales enquiries, generate proposal to customers for sales of products and spare parts
* Develop and follow-up on sales opportunities and take ownership in following-up quotations
* Conduct contract review prior to working on orders by assessing and interpreting customers' specifications against offers, clarify requirements with customers, and coordinate with support team on shipments and delivery
* Working closely with customers to find new application areas and recommend technical solutions
* Execute competitive analysis and identify market price for various customers and market segments locally
* Conduct product and application training

The Requirements:

* ITE, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
* 3 - 5 years of technical sales experience in the following industries: Electronic, Semiconductor, Biomedical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical industries can be useful
* Possesses own vehicle (required)
* Experience in sales of mechanical products (e.g. pumps, blowers, compressors) is an advantage
* Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, and ability to work in a structured sales environment
