Our client is one of the largest systems integrator with its headquarters in Japan. The client offers services in IT strategy planning, implementation and outsourcing for a broad range of industries and activities.

The Responsibilities:

Functional Support

* Develop new products with other application/project teams
* Perform system/functional analysis to facilitate requirement gathering and document preparation
* Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing and rehearsal testing support
* Contribute towards the end-to-end solutioning for new products
* Ensure successful implementation of solutions
* Create operational workflows, and use cases diagrams
* Contribute towards the relevant sections of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

* Gather requirements with business and operation users
* Provide viable solutions for improvements to operational efficiency, user experience to deliver business initiatives
* Review and sign-off the artefacts and solutions produced by technical teams and vendor s
* Share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions

Projects & Other Responsibilities

* Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

The Requirements:

* Minimum a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
* Minimum 7 years of IT experience in banking software development
* Strong analytical skills and attention to details
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
* Able to work both independently and in a team
* In-depth experience in Payments, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking projects
* Extremely familiar with Payments (TT, RTGS, LVP (Payroll), Direct Debit, Real-Time Payments, Cheques), and Receivables (Collections) processing across the APAC region
* Sound domain knowledge in Corporate Banking and Wealth Management
* Sound functional analysis and project management skills
* Hands-on experience with data/interface mapping and troubleshooting
* Knowledge of SDLC and/or Agile Scrum
* Good knowledge on:

o ISO20022 payment standard and SWIFT messages

o Straight-thru processing (STP) and operational efficiency

o Core banking and foreign exchange transactions

o Transaction reporting and advices

o Payments filtering and AML
