Our Client:

We are assisting a world-renowned company with a heavy vested interest in data centre expansion. As part of their DC operations, our client is looking to hire a competent Commisioning Engineer to join their team in Indonesia.

The Responsibilities:

As a Commissioning Engineer, your main responsibilities include:

* Develop project specific commissioning schedule and plans for Indonesia and APAC builds
* Conduct commissioning coordination meetings as needed with project management, control, balance, and start up representatives
* Review system specific test scripts and sequences of operations
* Return complete and legible commissioning documentation to the APAC regional manager for alignment with global standards and policies
* Track commissioning issues until resolved and closed
* Coordinate and manage commissioning authority work in accordance with existing practice and documentation
* Represent the company at project specific commissioning coordination meetings
* Ability and willingness to travel , as may be needed both domestic and international

The Requirements:

To qualify for the position of commissioning engineer, you are required to:

* Possess minimum 5 years' experience in any one of the following areas: Commissioning; Mechanical or Electrical Design; Construction Project Management; Control System installation or maintenance; HVAC testing and balancing; Facilities operations and/or maintenance
* Graduate with a min degree of BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
* Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and valid work visas in Indonesia
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and Outlook required; advanced knowledge of SharePoint (or similar) preferred
* Advance knowledge of mechanical systems and basic knowledge of electrical and fire alarm/life safety systems
* Advance knowledge of mechanical or electrical control systems
* Ability to read and understand construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.)
* Advanced knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design
* Successful candidate must be comfortable travelling 70% of the time within Indonesia and North Asia for project basis
