Legal Senior Executive/ Executive

Job Description

Our Client:

Our Client is the leading manufacturer of audio, video, communications and information technology products for the global consumer and professional markets.

Their Singapore office is looking for a Legal Senior Executive/ Executive.

The Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to provide legal and compliance support to business and operational functions in Singapore and other SEA region including:

* Drafting, vetting and negotiating a varied range of legal, commercial and corporate documents, such as Software agreements, License agreements, end user license agreements, Inter-company agreements, etc.
* Performing and supporting regional compliance activities (e.g., anti-trust, anti-bribery, etc.)
* Reviewing and advising on the Company's rights and liabilities under existing commercial and corporate agreements
* Assisting in legal disputes and governance matters and procedures, liaising with, and managing external lawyers
* Liaising with internal legal colleagues in Tokyo and other countries for region-wise or global matters

The Requirements:

* LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and/or a recognized university in a common Asia Pacific law jurisdiction
* Legal knowledge about corporate, commercial, information Technology laws in Singapore and/or other Asia Pacific countries
* Minimum 4 years' post qualification experience in general corporate/commercial work, in-house in a corporation, preferably in the information technology context
* Conscientious, meticulous and analytical with good interpersonal and communication skill
* Confident, resourceful, dynamic and proactive disposition
* Facilitate across functions and business units with a commercial mind
* Have an experience working in multicultural environment would be advantageous
