Electronic Test Development Engineer (Specialized in IC tester)

Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an established start-up in the semiconductor industry, focused on the research and development of high-speed communication chips. Due to business expansion requirements, they are looking for an Electronic Test Development Engineer (with specialization in IC Test Architect) to handle development projects in Singapore. A successful candidate should have good ATE tester knowledge, mastered the basic principles signal circuits as well as scripting and design language.

Candidate would expect competitive remuneration salary with flexible working environment.

The Responsibilities:

* Work with R&D department to develop chip circuit test method as well as ATE test scheme
* To do planning and preparation of test plan, including setting up of ATE and LAB as well as schedule for redevelopment
* Take part in formulation and verification of DFT scheme
* Responsible for testing, evaluation and fine tuning the coverage and cost of ATE test for continuous improvement
* Create ATE test pattern according to specification of chip design
* Prepare test schematic diagram and support debug
* Collect test data from ATE and LAB and conduct correlation analysis
* Standardize and universalize test process to improve efficiency of development

The Requirements:

* Degree in Electrical and Electronics/Mechatronics or relevant studies
* Minimum 8 years of Testing/Development experience
* Good knowledge of digital/ SoC ATE platform
* Good knowledge of scripting and hardware design language
* Good knowledge in test theory of both digital and mixed signal chip
* Familiar with chip design process with good understanding of digital and mixed signal circuits
* Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
