Our Client:

Our client is an International Trading Company in Energy, Life Commodities, and Solutions through 50 global business bases, headquartered in South Korea. They are actively looking to hire a Trader to join them in Singapore to develop new business opportunities.

The Responsibilities:

* Develop and explore new business opportunities
* Conduct market research and analysis on new business
* Understand strategic planning and work processes
* Liaison with Korean HQ and network of companies
* Maintain good customer relationships to gain new leads and develop new business opportunities

The Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of business development/ trading experience
* Preferably experience in nickel and lithium-ion battery related in renewable energy/ recycling sector
* Proficient in Korean language to be able to liaise effectively with native Korean-speaking stakeholders
* Strong business development and client management skills
* Independent, with initiative, and a team player
* Must have a strong business acumen to lead and drive digital initiatives that helps to improve growth and progress of company
