Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a leading group providing power protection solutions for more than 20 years, headquartered in Japan. They are looking for a QA/QC Engineer (M&E) for implementation of QA/QC system.

The Responsibilities:

* Implementation of QA/QC system to ensure targets are achieved with compliance to regulatory requirements
* Preparation and implementation of project specific inspection as well as testing plan
* Monitor and update status of assessment, along with schedule and related activity progress
* Chair QA/QC related meetings, conduct briefing session in line with good quality standards and practices
* Liaise with relevant authority on submission status
* Liaise with all parties involved in project (e.g local authorities, consultants, and subcontractors
* Conduct site walk
* Update management on Construction codes of practices, regulatory and statutory requirements, and restrictions
* Assist Project manager and director in planning and execution of project at site

The Requirements:

* Preferably Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
* 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC management system in M&E construction
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to network with staff of all levels
* Able to take on stress and work in fast-paced environment
* Able to work independently, good team player
* Organized with good project management skills
* Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office
