Our Client:
Our client is a multinational electrical manufacturing company which was originally established in Japan. They specialize in the Automotive Wire and Components business in Singapore since 1990. Currently, they are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their efforts as a Logistics Coordinator.
The Responsibilities:
* Coordinate & liaising with suppliers & forwarders on delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery of goods
* Follow up closely with suppliers on backlog
* Handling shipping documentation
* Photocopying and scanning of documents
* Other ad hoc duties
The Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma / Degree holder with 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience in any field
* Experience in logistics/sales & marketing/manufacturing would be an advantage
* Good team player and able to work independently
* Proficient in computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders
