Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a multinational automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Korea. They are establishing a brand-new innovation center in Singapore focusing on future mobility research and development, with the aim of revolutionizing value chain of future mobility. The facility is the first of its kind in the world hence it would be an exciting opportunity to join their upcoming presence in Singapore! They are currently looking for a Quality Inspection Engineer to be responsible for quality control of parts and subparts, as well as to improve vehicle quality.

The Responsibilities:

* Review, verify and approve parts received, preparation of inspection reports
* Periodic regular quality check for approved (ISIR) parts, conduct inspection according to each inspection cycle
* Conduct warehousing inspection of raw and subsidiary materials delivered
* Check for defect and manage work generate in assembly line accordingly
* Handle claims related to suppliers; correction cost as well as line suspension cost
* Handle projects to reduce main material cost of vehicle
* Conduct inspection, analyze on issues and come up with improvement actions for modules and subparts
* Monitor quality in the module assembly process, provide feedback for improvement
* Joint analysis of finished vehicle quality issues, evaluate effectiveness and provide feedback for further improvement
* Verify and improvement for any conformity noticed during the module assembly process
* Conduct 3D measuring of modules and sub-part

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Management or relevant discipline
* Preferably with 3-6 years of related experience in Electronic/Automotive Industry
* With knowledge of equipment management and 3D measuring will be an added advantage
* With good knowledge of MS office and quality tools (e.g. SPC)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with personnel of all levels
* Positive attitude, proactive, team player and meticulous
