Our Client:

An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a multinational company in the FMCG (Tobacco) industry. Company is currently looking to hire a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to take on an individual contributor role in Singapore. This is a replacement role, and you will be part of HR team of 7. Company headcount of 150.

The Responsibilities:

Part of HR team of 7, this role is based in Singapore and will be focusing on being a Compensation & Benefits function specialist:

* As an experienced Com&Ben HR, you will be the go-to person and support on effective delivery of global framework within Singapore, providing an analytical and other professional level support within the compensation and benefits (C&B) area, including and not limited to: payroll management, implementation and monitoring of C&B guidelines, programs and local C&B structure to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness and consistent application of established policy throughout the organization
* Liaising and managing Payroll vendor in order to have timely submission of all statutory requirements such as monthly CPF, IR8A, IR21, etc.
* Taking responsibility for data and systems (where relevant) preparation for exercises like annual salary review, bonus computation, pay line proposal, Total Rewards Statement, Top Employer survey, assignees compensation cross charge and ad hoc matters
* Carrying out the Global Mobility projects connected with global systems and vendor management. Supporting People & Culture Business Partners (P&C BP) in Assignee Relocation management. Coordinating with Tax vendor in preparation of assignees Annual Tax
* Reviewing the Annual Salary & Fringe budget for local employees & assignees along with headcount monitoring
* Liaising closely with benefits vendor on renewal and implementation of benefits programs & practices
* Reviewing and updating Employee Handbook and communicating Benefits such as Flexible Benefit, Long Service award, Health Screening, EAP, Family Leave, Congratulatory & Condolence, etc.

The Requirements:

* Degree in Human Resources or related field
* At least 4-5 years' experience in Compensation & Benefits focus work, in a small to mid-sized MNC setup would be ideal
* With maturity to be sensitive when dealing with confidential information
* Strong communication skills who can deliver ideas and look through strategic lenses, and is someone innovative and proactive
* Ambitious, pays attention to details and is a great team player
* Independent, quick-learner, and possesses strong sense of responsibility
* Strong proficiency in MS Excel (i.e. Advanced)
