Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a prestigious Japanese restaurant offering contemporary Japanese cuisine. The job offers 5-day work week, wide range of Company Group staff benefits, attractive remuneration and career opportunities.

The Responsibilities:

* Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
* Deputize in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant
* Has a good knowledge of the menu and presentation standards
* Ensure all staff always provide a courteous and professional service and adhere to the employee rules and regulations
* Take an active role in coaching junior staffs and maintain uniform and service standards
* Promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, and ensure only the highest quality products are being served
* Establish rapport with guests to build loyalty and gather constructive feedback to ensure satisfaction of every individual guest
* Handle daily team member relations, and encourage problem solving by team members through proper training and empowerment
* Improving procedures and systems
* To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned

The Requirements:

* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
* Must be able to speak Japanese in order to liaise with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders
* Given the nature of the job, the candidate must be able to communicate in English
* Be a role model for all junior members
* Excellent guest service skill
* Driven and organized, well-groomed and possess good communication skills

Others:

* 5 days' work week, 9.5 hours with 1 meal provided
* Entitled to AWS and 14 days AL
* Uniform will be provided, may be required to wear heels
* Accommodation can be provided on quad sharing basis
