Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a renowned European Nutrients MNC. They are actively looking to hire a dynamic APAC Supply Planner to be part of their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Creating a workable procurement, production, and materials distribution plan, they use scenarios to assess potential substitute supply solutions
* Manages plan gaps by recognizing choices that the system hasn't taken into account and produces trade-off decisions that will be presented during the S&OP process
* Collaborating with the Master schedulers to make sure the configuration is sustainable, effective, and affordable while taking demand patterns and MTO vs. MTS capacity requirements into account
* Leads or participates in supply review meetings, making ensuring that pertinent issues are brought up and that follow-up decisions or actions are communicated
* Creates and provides a prediction of inventory for at least the following 12 rolling months
* Contributes to supply chain optimization projects and initiatives and covers master scheduling in unique circumstances

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management Advanced Supply Chain or Project Management Certification (CSCP, CPIM, CPM) is preferred
* 8 to 10 years' experience in multiple areas that could include time spent in functional supply chain role
* High level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience in using SAP is preferred
* Experience in manufacturing industries is preferred
* Understanding of functional supply chain elements is required, including production operations, procurement, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, distribution, and customer service
* Experience in using data and metrics to manage work; owns and uses KPIs to manage process and spur change, including making sure stakeholders receive accurate planning metric feedback each cycle
