Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is the leading insurance brand in Asia that leverages on multichannel distribution and strong intermediary partnerships to offer insurance solutions. They are actively looking for a Telemarketing Consultant to join their ever-growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Perform outbound telesales calls to market and sell Company's personal insurance products
* Create and maintain proper customer information, calls, and sales records
* Perform any after call functions to complete the cycle of the call
* Answer telephone calls, attend to telephone queries from customers and direct such calls to Customer Service where necessary
* Ensure confidentiality of data in the manner and to the extent required by the Company and/or the Bank
* Ensures business handled is in line with the Company's underwriting guidelines and comply with all law, regulatory and audit requirements
* Provide feedback and suggestions on programmes handled to improve and/or enhance existing and future telemarketing programmes
* Deputise as Team Leader in the absence of the telemarketing manager
* Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

The Requirements:

* GCE 'O' level preferably with professional insurance qualification
* Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI) and Cert HI
* Good product knowledge of general insurance personal lines products
* Knowledge of telesales operation
* Good communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skill
* Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
* Confident in demeanour, able to handle challenging situations with maturity & confidence
* Experience in telesales
* Experience in insurance products
