Our Client:

Our client is a global leading energy company as well as a manufacturer of chemical products such as gasoline, diesel, lubricants, base oil, fuel, and its additives with global footprints. They are looking for a Structurer to develop deal opportunities to support growth of global LNG portfolio. Successful candidate should have strong numerical skills to handle valuation and risk assessment of complex transaction.

The Responsibilities:

* Development of valuation models and methods to evaluate pricing and risk of complex contracts
* Identify transactions' inherent risk and value drivers (e.g. market risk, project risk, credit risk, financial risk, and regulatory risk)
* Maintain good relationship with various stakeholders as representative of Deal Structuring team
* Development of innovative structured product in partnership with originators and traders in response to demand and market conditions
* Offer unbiased view on transaction, suggest constructive alternative solutions or improvement when necessary
* Engage with commercial project leaders proactively to restructure non-standard transactions during negotiation phase suggest constructive alternative solutions or improvement when necessary
* Work closely with necessary internal stakeholders during approval process
* Manage and maximize value of acquired structured positions in conjunction with deal owners
* Maintain strong and collaborative relationship with origination team and internal partners within the value chain
* Develop junior roles where possible
* Establish network of contacts to enhance market intelligence and ensure activities are integrated with organization's strategy

The Requirements:

* Minimum Degree in numerical subject (e.g. mathematic, statistic, finance, CFA, ACA or relevant discipline)
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in LNG Supply and Trading/ Origination/ Business Development
* Strong experience in financial modelling/ risk management with good analytical skills
* Demonstrated achievement and familiar with financial terms, metrics, and business acumen
* Solid grasp of LNG value chain from production to customer with comprehensive knowledge of commodity markets
* With experience reviewing and analyzing contracts from commercial perspective
* Analytical and strategic thinker with good problem-solving skills, with track record as a senior team member
* Self-starter with ability to work within complex team, able to work independently with limited supervision in new market
* Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills to communicate efficiently with various stakeholders
* Comfortable with travelling
