Our Client:
Our client is one of the largest insurance companies with decades of experience in providing wide range of products in the market. They are actively looking to hire a Deputy Head to join their Insurance Operations in Myanmar.
The Responsibilities:
* Deputizes the Head of Operations, as and when necessary
* Oversee the company's daily operations, ensure sound management of the Underwriting and Claims functions), which strict adherence to regulatory requirements, reinsurance treaties, and company standards
* Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes, both internally and externally, and finds ways to optimize the processes and review to suggest system enhancement and automation
* Maintain control of business operations by developing and implementing strategies to build business operations for various distribution channels across the country (incl. agency, banca, partnership)
The Requirements:
* At least 10 years of working knowledge in underwriting and claim adjudication of life and health products, preferably in both individual and group insurance portfolios, with direct insurance and or reinsurance companies
* At least a Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Nursing, Medicine, Bioscience or other related fields
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
* Knowledge of Kaizen methodology, operational KPI management are pluses
