Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global warehousing and freight forwarding company. They are actively looking for a Senior Executive to join their Finance team.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible for full sets of accounts for Singapore entities; ensure that monthly financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules are submitted promptly and accurately
* Perform gross and net margin analysis and highlight major variances
* Review and improve on current financial/ accounting processes/ reportings for better efficiency
* Support in yearly budget and quarterly forecast for Singapore entities
* Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
* Prepare yearly audit report and supporting files for review; liaise with auditors on all audit issues and queries relating to the Company
* Support quarterly GST returns to ensure statutory compliance
* Support in HQ reportings and internal management reportings as and when required
* Assist in accounting and other matters which are relating to other APAC subsidiaries
* Protect Company's business by keeping financial information confidential
* Calculate job costing accrual, support tax filing and calculation
* Support monthly variance analysis for Singapore entities
* Support any regional initiatives for financial management
* Be the liaison with IT for the support of users
* Other duties as assigned by the Superior

The Requirements:

* Minimum Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualification
* Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
* Responsible, analytical, organized, and meticulous
* A team player with good inter-personal and communication skills
* Independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP Systems
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese to liaise with native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and vendors
* Experience in AR, AP, and receipting
* Possess good general IT knowledge
