Our Client:

Our client is a global warehousing and logistics company. They offer complete logistics, warehousing, and supply chain solutions tailored to individual requirements. Furthermore, they can properly handle all aspects of the supply chain from the first point of production to the last point of consumption.

The Global Systems and IT Manager is responsible for all aspects of Information System (IS) and IT Infrastructure for the business and will require significant experience in global or large-scale regional software development and infrastructure programs. This role is to ensure the adequacy of IS applications and IT infrastructure to support business and achieve the business objectives.

The position is within the Global Support Desk Team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Responsibilities:

* Reporting directly to the Group Management, this role requires full responsibility for the Group's Portfolio of Systems Programs
* Supporting all internal end-user globally, including overseas offices, subsidiaries and branches
* Manage Group's Systems' costs / benefits and match to long-term Business goals
* Formulate and maintenance of corporate strategies on ERP, SaaS, and Infrastructure
* Management of Global IT related budgets, contracts, and licensing
* Accountable for Dynamics ERP program with strong focus on scope, budget, and timelines
* Management of the Infrastructure teams ensuring high availability and disaster recovery procedures
* Prepare and manage quality management plans and schedules
* Proactively propose IT solutions that will improve business process efficacy
* Ensure buy-in of global key stakeholders on various initiatives / projects
* Provide consistent and clear communication between all project stakeholders
* Manage multiple audit streams, both internal, external, and regulatory
* Build and manage teams with focus on global delivery and support
* Follow the industry trends on new technology development, initiate recommendations for the organization to adapt to changes to increase competitiveness of the business, improve efficacy of work processes, and minimize IT security risks
* Frequent travels could be required
* Service providers and vendors for IT/IS externally

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT or related discipline
* Over 20 years' experience in global or large-scale regional Systems delivery projects (SDLC, ERP and Infrastructure)
* Career progression with proven strong leadership skills and experience to manage and motivate IT teams
* Experience in programming and business analysis
* Result-oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in a highly collaborative environment
* Active engagement with various aspects of the business, understand and relate to the challenges and hurdles faced across departments and provide pro-active support to the complex IT needs across the company
* Working knowledge of software development methodologies, including waterfall, iterative and incremental methodologies (SCRUM preferred)
* Formal Project / Program qualification, for example PRINCE2
* Proven track record of ERP implementation across a global or large-scale regional set up
* Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a pre-requisite
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Effective conflict resolution skills
