Our Client:
Our client is one of the global manufacturers and distributors of engineering plastics material, with headquarters in Germany. They are looking for a Sales Manager to develop sales for composites products.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop sales and marketing strategy to increase sales opportunities, review new opportunities and strategy planning to meet sales target
* Oversee local distributor operation to improve efficiency and maximize sales growth
* Negotiate on price and specification, work on promotional mechanisms
* Act as the main contact point with client, liaison with cross functional team to ensure customers queries and issues are dealt timely and appropriately
* Build strong working relationship with clients, and provide excellent services to customers
* Report on budget, pipeline, and target on weekly and monthly basis
* Stay abreast with developments of prioritized market segments
The Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Material / Polymer Science or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales/ Marketing role in Engineering Plastics or Composites
* Independent with high level of verbal and written communication skills to work with cross functional team
* Good business analytical skills, self-driven with open mindset
* Must be willing and able to travel extensively
