Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is an e-commerce marketplace platform (tech firm) specializing in B2B sales for business and industrial supplies (downstream O&G MRO), arguably one of the region's largest MRO & Business Supplies Marketplace for enterprises. Companies that use this platform ranges from start-ups to Fortune 500s. Businesses can have visibility into all of their purchases, where it is, and when it is expected to arrive. The business represents multitudes of accredited suppliers/vendors in Southeast Asia on their B2B eCommerce platform.

The Business Development Manager reports to the Enterprise Sales Head and is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of the business through active prospecting, onboarding medium to large local enterprises, and maintaining key buyer relationships.

The Responsibilities:

* Increase sales activities by visiting businesses and understanding their demands and challenges
* Onboard enterprise clients to sign up for enterprise accounts and support the growth of the business's sales bookings as set out by Director's plan
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and assist them in channelling their spending into the business by collaborating with the BD Buyer Team and Seller Account team, as well as meeting monthly sales targets.
* Create and maintain account plans based on enterprise account lists
* Make sure sales activity is logged through HubSpot to coordinate and track progress
* Ensure a continuous emphasis on growing the culture through supporting strategic projects and leading by example

The Requirements:

* Minimum with Diploma (or equivalent work experience) degree
* Major plus should you are either familiar with:

* MRO products & equipment of downstream O&G industry, and/or
* B2B/B2C marketplace platform/software sales

* Willingness to be a self-starter consultative tech advisor with strong analytical, presentation skills and possess the professional ability to interact with any level within an organization
* Ability to multitask and work independently or within a team
* Must possess a can-do, entrepreneurial drive, focusing on solving problems creatively with a high level of energy
