Our Client:

An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a multi-national company in the Commodity Trading industry. Company is currently looking to hire a new headcount - HR & Legal Executive to take on a pivotal role individual contributor role in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

With this role based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in being a good support to both Head of HR and Head of Legal (team of 3). This is a new headcount where there will be guidance in both HR and Legal function.

This position is responsible for providing support to the HR and Legal departments.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions and problem solve, possess good follow-up skills, and know when to escalate any issues and to whom.

The incumbent will be accountable for admin support to the two corporate functions, which includes but not limited to the following:

Human Resources

* Onboarding process from offer to employee joining (not excessive)

o Policies e-signing and data updates on HR systems
o Background Screening

* Maintaining employee records as required on systems or manual
* Prepare and maintaining HR documentations including contracts, probation confirmation, salary letters, etc.
* Coordinate and execute immigration/work pass requirements and process
* Coordinate and support on cross Legal and HR topics such as Personal Data Protection Act

Legal

* Providing secretarial support to the Head of Legal (APAC) (does not include diary management)
* Provide administrative support to the Legal team based in the Singapore office, including ad-hoc travel arrangements
* Manage filing, contract, and record administration for Legal team
* Manage administration and processing of invoices on e-billing and Concur systems.
* Responsible for quarterly reporting and consolidation of confidentiality agreements and litigation updates across business units and upload onto internal system
* Maintain up to date statutory and other records on internal system
* Opportunity to project manage development of legal technology capabilities within the Legal team

The Requirements:

* Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources or Legal Admin field
* Comfortable to work in a small-mid sized Corporate Setting
* Passion, accountable, strong perceptive abilities, and the ability to foster positive relationships
* With maturity to be sensitive when dealing with confidential information
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ambitious, pays attention to details and is a great team player
* Independent, quick-learner and possesses strong sense of responsibility
