Job Description
Our Client:
Our client provides power and automation technologies for smart grids, robotics, electric cars, renewable energy, and motors. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Service Engineer to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Executing after sales business activity preventive & condition-based maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning
* Actively coordinating with operation supervisors for optimal service potentials from regular customer interactions
* Proactively involving in self-learning and practical exposure for continuous competence and productivity improvement
* Reporting early any technical/contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution
* Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities
* Report unsafe practices and incidents
* Proactively identifying area of improvement e.g. Self-technical knowledge, job safety, etc.
* Providing leadership and coordinating for the service team. Creating and developing good team spirit
* Understanding customer needs & manage customer relationships. Co-operating actively with other units to achieve common targets
The Requirements:
* Diploma, ITC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Minimum 5 years hands on repair and service experience on electrical equipment
* Experience on LV & MV VFD will be an advantage
* Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge
* Knowledge on theory, structure, application, and testing methodology and component fault diagnosis/analysis will be added advantage
