Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a Singapore-listed conglomerate-investment company, and they are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to support matters relating to financial, asset and fund reporting, as well as budget management.

The Responsibilities:

* Support fund accounting by applying international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and other generally accepted accounted principles applicable across Asia Pacific investment platform
* Accurate and timely support of financial reporting, investor reporting, cash management and capital transactions
* Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and compliance with JV agreement
* Prepare the investment entities' standalone and/or consolidated financials, including the supporting workpapers and reconciliations
* Assist in annual budget and variance analysis of actual vs budget
* Handle audit and tax and ensuring timely completion per the partnership documents and statutory filing deadlines
* Prepare and review the quarterly investor reports, partner capital statements and ad hoc investor reporting
* Prepare debt compliance certificates and lender reporting
* Monitor the cash position of the portfolios and ensure cash needs are met (including working capital, debt servicing or other compliance requirements)
* Analyze the cash positions and ensure capital calls and distributions are planned appropriately to meet the needs of the fund and its investors
* Timely issuance of capital call and distribution notices and monitoring receipts of funds per the notices' value dates
* Monitor loan covenants and debt servicing dues including facility drawdowns and repayments, interest, and commitment fees payments
* Prepare subline facility's drawdown and repayment requests
* Monitor timely upstream of distributions flow within the JV structure and to the Partners
* Accounts payable and receivable management and ensure adherence to governance and approval mandate
* Work on bank accounts opening and ensure timely update on any change in authorization signatories and preparers' mandate

The Requirements:

* Qualified CA or CPA and a Degree in Accounting or Finance
* At least 6 years relevant working experience in corporate, including SGX listed company and / or Big four audit firm
* Candidates with real estate industry, property investment holding company or fund experience
* Strong accounting knowledge and ability to apply finance, accounting and SFRS/IFRS knowledge in areas including consolidation and general accounting, intercompany, month-end close procedures, acquisition and disposal/deconsolidation of subsidiary companies, accounting for non-controlling interests, head office recharge, transfer pricing and process controls
* Corporate tax, treasury, budgeting and forecasting experience are advantageous
* Experience in ERP accounting systems including Oracle Hyperion and Fusion are preferred
