Our Client:
Our client is a well-known company that looks into manufacturing consumer electronics products. With a strong global presence in the market, due to sales team expansion plan, they are actively looking to hire a Field Application Engineer to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Assist the sales team to win business with company's 5G solutions
* Understand customers technical issues, provide remote or on-site troubleshooting
* Support customers in lab and field trial, able to understand customer application environment and provide insightful advice based on customer needs
* Support engineering team in device and system level testing
* Provide technical training to Sales Engineers, Distributor Field Applications Engineers, and key customers on company's networking products
* Assist sales team through preparation and delivery of technical presentations and statements of work by matching specific client business requirements with effective technical solutions
* Create relationships with key decision makers and serve as a technical spokesperson
* Participate in functionality roadmap planning based on customer feedback
* Small cell system and platform testing. Create and execute the test cases for the radio access network (RAN)
* Provide technical support to troubleshoot new end-to-end cellular technology and fix the issues of radio networks
* Support customer lab and customer markets for SW/ HW new feature verification and validation
* Understand the customer's needs, execute POC (proof of concept) and benchmark, and field deployment if needed
The Requirements:
* At least 5 years experiences in wireless network
* Good understanding of 3GPP technologies and network architecture
* Familiar with RAN technologies and architecture
* Customer support experience of RAN/small cell product
* A keen eye for debugging
