Our Client:

Established as an investment firm, the organization focuses the business on the glove industry. The product range is from medical gloves, industrial gloves, food safety gloves, as well as nitrile gloves. Throughout the years, its manufacturing capability and capacity has tremendously increased to be one of the respected companies in the region. The organization also established and invested on multiple fronts, from research and development, new technology implementation, until its product distribution.

The Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Managing Director of the organization. Your responsibility will include multiple locations in different countries, and not limited to:

* Developing, recommending, and implementing IT strategies and plans that align with business objectives, requirements, and global IT standards
* Establishing and maintaining global and specific local IT management policies and procedures while continuously reviewing them for improvement
* Providing system and network support, including server maintenance, hardware installation, and setup for several sites in the region
* Advising management on technology changes and managing data center risk and infrastructure by ensuring backup plans and actions are in place
* Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems
* Proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions in a timely manner
* Safeguarding assets, information security, and control structures
* Managing the global annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness
* Completing any other duties as assigned on an ad hoc basis

The Requirements:

This position is a newly created position in Singapore and you will be one of the first batch of hire for their newly setup entity in Singapore. The successful candidate should possess:

* Bachelor's Degree in information technology
* Practical experience in a relevant IT position, covering multiple countries
* Experience in global or large-scale regional delivery projects (SDLC, ERP and Infrastructure). High familiarity in understanding of technical management, data analysis, and hardware/software systems
* Results oriented / self-directed ability to drive change in a highly collaborative environment
* Active engagement with various aspects of the business, understand and relate to the challenges and hurdles faced across departments and provide pro-active support to the complex IT needs across the company
* Proven track record of implementation projects across global or regional set up
* Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a pre-requisite to be able to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders
* Effective interpersonal skills
* Effective conflict resolution skills
