Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global developer and manufacturer of sustainable and innovative chemical solutions for various industries. They provide a broad range of products, including surface additives, polymers, coatings, and emulsions that enhance the performance of various materials, such as paper, plastics, composites, and textiles. They serve several industries, including packaging, printing, automotive, building materials, and personal care.

To grow their team in Singapore, they are looking to hire a Chemical Regulatory Specialist to obtain new chemical registrations and ensure compliance with existing inventory listings.

The Responsibilities:

* Monitor and maintain knowledge of existing and emerging regulations in APAC
* Provide regulatory guidance to business stakeholders for the company to stay compliant
* Obtain new and maintain current chemical registrations
* Coordinate regulatory document preparation and submissions with internal stakeholders
* Communicate with regulatory agencies and partner with consulting agencies
* Ensure compliance with volume tracking obligations and record keeping and recording in APAC
* Develop standard operating procedures and conduct regulatory training
* Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers

The Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in a relevant field
* 5-10 years' work experience with APAC chemical regulations
* Strong understanding of APAC chemical inventories
* Regulatory experience with new substance notifications in China and Korea
* Proficiency in data analysis using Excel
* Concise communication skills
* Attention to detail and efficient document management
* Ability to multitask and work under time constraints
