Our client is a leading data center provider. They are headquartered in Singapore and has a global platform of over hundred facilities in several countries including China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, and the Philippines.

They offer a range of data center solutions, support services, and connectivity to meet their customers' colocation needs, both currently and in the future.

Drawing on your experience as a Commissioning Subject Matter Expert, you will manage the commissioning process for assigned NEA and SEA projects. In return they can offer opportunity to further develop your career in an expanding organisation.

The Responsibilities:

* Develop and update regional guidelines for testing and commissioning of Data Centre (DC) equipment and mission-critical systems in the NEA and SEA regions
* Manage commissioning process and consultant for NEA and SEA projects
* Supervise and manage the appointed commissioning resources such as CxA, CxM, GC for individual projects
* Review and evaluate the commissioning process and workflow developed by the consultant during project development in Asia
* Maintain the DC Commissioning Standards across the Group, including ongoing review and revision to meet Group and customer requirements
* Optimize Group-wide commissioning processes, standards, and performance, including benchmarking and reporting commissioning KPIs
* Develop in-house tracking tools to enhance project commissioning visibility and tracking
* Foster relationships with commissioning resources in key customer organizations to ensure compliance
* Maintain Commissioning Consultant relationships and align their commissioning support capabilities with project requirements
* Provide Commissioning Subject Matter Expertise and engage with customers regarding commissioning requirements to support projects

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Project Management qualification or training in the Engineering and Construction Industry
* Professional specialist engineering and commissioning development within MEP systems
* Relevant professional body Commissioning Certification
* Design and Practical Commissioning experience for DC and related Mission Critical (24x7) projects.
* Have a minimum of 10 years of engineering and commissioning experience in DC and Mission Critical environments
* Significant commissioning (Integrated System Test) experience for DC and Mission Critical facilities (24x7)
* Able to articulate as well as develop commissioning specifications, commissioning workflow, and commissioning best practices relating to DC and Mission Critical Facilities
* Experience with construction related projects in their career with a minimum project value of $250m (both Green and Brown field projects)
* Familiar with the ASHRAE, CIBSE and BSRIA commissioning codes
* Experience performing both consultant side and owners side responsibilities
* Relevant work experience across multiple countries, including Asian countries, with demonstrated cultural sensitivity
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* As part of the job scope, he/she must be willing to travel
