Job Description

Our Client:

Our client ranks regionally as a leading provider of scientific & medical instruments, hospital infrastructure, and laboratory furniture. They are actively looking to hire an Interior Designer / Drafter to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Working on interior design projects from concept through to completion
* Familiar with industry standard practices from SD, DD, CD to as-built
* To be confident and proficient in taking responsibilities for the design and coordination of simultaneous projects
* To coordinate a team and communicate ideas both internally and externally
* Translate briefs & creative strategies into creative concepts
* Assist the team in explanation of design details to construction team
* Prepare and produce Schedules and Presentations
* Working hand-in-hand with Clients, QS, and Project Managers to deliver a seamless experience in design and project delivery
* Support pre-sales activities by building and maintaining relationships with customers, facility managers and technical personnel
* Regular work site inspection if required

The Requirements:

* Minimum a Diploma or above in a related field, preferably from a design or creative program
* Preferably to have min. 5 years of experience in related field and possess a strong interior design & technical background in commercial interior design works
* Understanding of latest trends, materials, technology, and practices in the industry
* Able to work with design software like, Adobe, AutoCAD, and Sketchup
* Able to work with Enscape will be a bonus
* Familiarity of Code of Practices, Guidelines and Singapore Regulations will be a bonus
* Able to work with basic office software like MS Excel, Word, Power Point
* Team player with a great can-do attitude
* Having a positive attitude and proactive mindset
