Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a pioneer in Securities & Derivatives, Trading and Clearing Member of Singapore Exchange as well as a pioneer member of ICE Futures Singapore & ICE Clear Singapore. They are actively looking to hire a Relationship Manager/Senior Relationship Manager to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Sourcing and onboarding new offshore clients to expand their network and introduce them to their company's Wealth Management platform
* Offering exceptional advice, service, and tailored recommendations to clients, with a strong focus on understanding their individual needs, objectives, and risk tolerance
* Creating personalized wealth management solutions and investment ideas to meet each client's specific financial goals
* Empowering clients to make informed financial decisions by providing them with clear, relevant, and timely information
* Conducting regular reviews of investment portfolios and risk profiles in collaboration with clients.
* Ensuring strict compliance with all risk, cross-border, and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and guidelines
* Building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, striving for excellence in their overall experience through high standards of service and quality advice
* Submitting progress reports, including updates on existing business and prospects, in a regular and timely manner
* Keeping detailed and accurate call reports after meetings with clients
* Collaborating closely with the investment product and research department, providing valuable input for generating new investment and product ideas
* Adhering to all regulatory and bank policies and procedures, including the advisory handbook, cross-border rules, AML guidelines, and other risk/compliance matters. Promptly reporting any irregularities or red flags to the line manager or compliance officer

The Requirements:

* A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in direct client relationship management within the Wealth Management/Investment Advisory Sales Industry
* Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages to be able to liaise effectively with English and native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
* Holds a recognized university degree and possess relevant certifications
* Demonstrated success in client acquisition and retention
* Strong discipline and a deep understanding of the Compliance and Regulatory framework of the industry
* Extensive knowledge of investment products and market dynamics
* Excellent relationship management and sales skills
* Highly motivated, client-oriented, and possess strong business acumen
