Our Client:
Our Client based in Singapore, and operates data centres worldwide, providing scalable solutions, connectivity, and support services. Our global team ensures consistent excellence across locations and are looking to hire a Network & Security IT Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Manage global network and security projects, encompassing design and implementation, leveraging advanced networking and security knowledge
* Independently oversee IT network and security infrastructure projects, including those involving cloud services, servers, audio/video components, and network elements
* Act as the Project Manager for all global projects related to network and security, data centre setups, and office configurations
* Serve as the sole point of contact for all matters pertaining to network and security issues and projects
* Develop new network designs, strategize IP addressing plans, and enhance existing network architectures
* Possess expertise in networking, capable of crafting network designs ranging from small office setups to complex Data Centre configurations
* Deploy security controls to enhance the overall security of systems and platforms, both in the IT and OT (Operational Technology) domains
* Conduct vulnerability management and perform penetration testing for both IT and OT systems
* Manage IT network and security assets, maintaining inventory records, and keeping various networking documentation up to date
* Handle licenses, maintenance contracts, telco agreements, and renewals, while also providing support for IT procurement activities such as generating quotations and entering procurement data
* Travel to different Data Centre locations in Singapore, addressing and resolving high-priority issues, potentially during or after office hours
The Requirements:
* Minimum degree in IT-related field
* Certifications in Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Aruba ACSP, CISSP, or GICSP are a plus
* Proficiency in HPE/Cisco networking and Aruba products
* Basic knowledge of SDWAN, MPLS, and Azure Networking
* Familiarity with security products, Microsoft services, and relevant frameworks
* Strong vendor management skills
* Proactive, adaptable, and effective communicator
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
