About the Role:

As an Account Manager, you will be reporting to the Sales Director based in Singapore. You will be part of a team of eight, driving the revenue for the business units. It is a dual role as a farmer+hunter position, focusing on Singapore. There will be existing accounts assigned to you to maintain and revisit. This role is also accountable in generating new sales lead and opportunity for you to be self-sufficient, regardless of the verticals you will be pursuing on. The Account Manager is also supported by the Technical (presales) Team based in Singapore. The total team strength is of 18 individuals, covering the IT needs of their customers. You will also be supported by the Delivery Team, and the Project Manager for the rollout and implementation.

The Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is of the below, and not limited to:

* Generating, maintaining, and driving sales for assigned customer accounts
* Meeting sales quotas by identifying and securing business from both existing customers and new prospects while ensuring customer satisfaction with the provided products and services
* Expanding the customer base by using a variety of methods (such as levering existing accounts, industry connection, cold BD approaches, joining events, etc) to foster fruitful and long-lasting business relationships
* Participating in the creation of value propositions and skillfully negotiating to close sales deals
* Serving customers by thoroughly collaborating across departments (coordinating pre-sales, professional services, and support resources) for successful customer solutioning phase
* Demonstrating a solid understanding of IT products, solutions, and services
* Providing regular updates on sales activities and market trends during weekly meetings

The Requirements:

* At least a Diploma in either Information Technology or Computer Science
* Experience and track-record as an IT sales / account management professional to enterprise business landscape
* As it is a client facing position, being able to communicate clearly is paramount. You are required to grasp the requirements of the customers and able to work with the Technical team to deliver the solutions needed
* Driven to provide the appropriate IT solution to the customers, by being consultative and understanding
