Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a leading supplier and manufacturer of metal packaging in Asia with several plants across SEA with a global network. They are looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager to develop sales activity in the assigned market, as well as improving the performance of the sales team.

The Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership and guidance to sales team, to meet company sales target and objectives
* Establish sales plan and sales strategy to expand client base within market
* Develop action plans (team and individual) to increase effectiveness of search on sales prospects
* Initiates and execute action plans to penetrate new market to grow export business
* Maintain good relationship with key clients, develop to increase sales
* Liaison with various parties to ensure optimal sales operation
* Handle pricing adjustment and approval on prospect applications timely and accurately, while keeping company's profit margin in mind
* Provide feedback to management on performance
* Maintain record of pricing, sales activities submitted timely and accurately
* Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
* Ensure procedures and business ethic codes are adhered and implemented across the team

The Requirements:

* Min. Diploma in Business Management/ Marketing/ Manufacturing/ Economics or similar discipline
* Min. 5-year experience on Sales/ Account Management role from manufacturing environment
* With proven track record in closing sales, with experience in analyzing sales and develop sales strategies
* Customer oriented, with good problem-solving abilities with good contract negotiation skills
* Good working knowledge in Microsoft office
* Credible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate across all levels within the organization
