Our Client:

Our client is the leading one-stop metal packaging solutions service provider offering best value and quality to customers with strong reliability in both manufacturing standards and in timing, achieved through continuous improvement of their operational capabilities and product development through innovation. They are actively looking to hire a Technical Supervisor/ Executive to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of tool builders to support machine tool production and ensure tools are maintained in good quality
* Lead the tool team in problem solving, problem identification, and root cause analysis
* Monitor tool room operations daily and ensure 6S is practiced in tool room area
* Assist the production department in the design and manufacture of new tools or equipment to improve line efficiency, product quality, and labor savings
* Create AutoCAD product drawings based on tooling mold design and maintain technical related documentation. Design and develop technical tools to support the production chain to meet technical and quality requirements
* Technical support for tooling and manufacturing process design to the sales team for tendering or cost reduction projects
* Work with suppliers to improve tools to increase production and efficiency
* Lead/support continuous improvement of a tool or workflow
* Any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor and/or manager

The Requirements:

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
* 2 -5 year working experience
* Excellent in tooling knowledge and troubleshooting
* Positive, meticulous with Strong analytical skills
* Knowledge to use AutoCAD
* Team player and ability to lead a team
