Job Description

Our Client:

Our client provides customised Optoelectronics & advanced electronic systems to a global customer base of leading OEMS. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Manager to join their ever-growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Overseeing all EHS initiatives, legal compliances, injury prevention, and environmental protection at the manufacturing facility
* Monitoring ISO14001 certification management as well as taking the lead on the implementation of ISO45001, development and upkeep of various operational control components and alignment of (current and new) procedures
* Enhances the site's safety culture and offers assistance with its creation and implementation, which includes fostering safety and occupational health awareness initiatives and employee well-being
* Ensures that all facilities and equipment are working in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements and safety rules and regulations
* Take the lead in overseeing the Facilities and Maintenance team's comprehensive preventive maintenance (including CM & AM), which includes CAPEX/OPEX, contractual agreements, labor resources, and technical support
* Engage the department heads and collaborate with them to develop and carry out improvement and sustainability programs
* Coordinate annual operations plans, from strategy to execution, with the site leadership

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, or related degree in engineering disciplines with over 5 years of experience in manufacturing plant
* Work experience in sustenance/establishment of ISO14001 and ISO45001
* Preferably with work experience in the management of Hazardous Substance
* Good knowledge of local regulations, Code of Practices, and regulatory requirements
