Our Client:
Our client is the leading supplier and manufacturer of metal packaging in Asia with several plants across SEA with global network. They are looking for a QA Manager to lead the quality team and oversee overall quality and compliance function within the organization.
The Responsibilities:
* Lead the quality team which consists executive, officer and inspector; achieving objectives set by management
* Direct workers engaged in regular testing and inspection activities to ensure control over materials, facilities and product
* Development and execution of quality control plans through failure mode and effect analysis, identify critical control points and preventive measures
* Handle customer complaints, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner
* Review and approve customers' requirement on product specification
* Provide support on accreditation, audits, re-certifications, qualifications (of suppliers and testing services vendors)
* Develop and execution of continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste, improve product quality and optimize productivity and cycle time
* Develop and maintain quality control objectives according to corporate policies and goals
* Maintain good record of supplier performance scorecard
The Requirements:
* Diploma/ Degree in Quality/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or similar discipline
* Min 8-year experience in manufacturing environment, preferably from Packaging Industry
* Good working knowledge of quality, process improvement, manufacturing, QA/ QC, root cause analysis, manufacturing & control analysis, GMP
* Working environment: Equal balance between office and manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, fumes, heat, shop traffic and heavy machinery
* Good excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate across all levels within the organization
* Able to work in fast-paced environment and multitask
