Our Client:
Our client assists in the sale and lease of residential, commercial, and industrial property for investments and tenancies. They are actively looking to hire a Valuation Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
Business Development
* Identify business opportunities for valuation of properties
* Liaise with Professional and Agency Department in identifying and evaluating opportunities
* Develop and maintain a network of contacts with owners, investors, and end-users, including social contacts important to general business development
* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the market, with particular emphasis on new developments, market trends and the effect of values and prices of properties
* Identify and develop, where possible, all cross-business linkage opportunities
* Manage and maintain client relationship
General
* Oversee and ensure smooth operation and administration of the assigned business unit
* Work closely with other members of the valuation team to service clients at the highest standard of professionalism and service
* Carry out valuation of all types of properties and for all purposes of valuation
* Consult with and advise clients on strategic matters relating to the valuation of properties
* Prepare and make all necessary due diligence required for valuation of properties
* Prepare and make all necessary inspections with potential vendors or purchasers
* Observe the highest standard of professional standards in the valuation of properties
* Report and maintain client contact for subsequent approval of valuation and related consultancy
* Maintain effective communication and working relationship with all the staff in the firm
* Assist the Director on assigned instructions
The Requirements:
* Degree in Real Estate
* Member of SISV and a licenced appraiser are preferred
* Minimum 3 years in Real Estate valuation experience
