Our Client:
An excellent opportunity to join our client who is a renowned education management firm. They are a leading brand in the education management and is currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join them.
With a collaborative culture, candidates can look forward to leading a team while reporting to the Country Director directly.
The Responsibilities:
This role is based in Singapore and will be focusing on bringing in more partnerships with education institutions and managing the business.
* Business Planning
o Creating mid - long term strategy and annual business plan for the country
o Develop and execute operational plans for annual program of work
* Business Development
o Identifying opportunities and implement program of work to capitalise agreed opportunity
o Implement new initiatives by undertaking business impact analysis and implementation activities to support the business change and growth in Singapore
* Financial Management
o Provide inputs and once budget is set monitor Pipeline and Revenue budgets. With finance team, monitor results and initiate corrective action where required
o Collaborate with Finance and CM to implement forecasting methodologies and processes to achieve accurate, timely pipeline and revenue forecasts
* Business Operational Support and Performance
o Participate in local, national, and regional forums to share knowledge and expertise on emerging and potential market opportunities and best practice initiatives
* Quality and Compliance
o Active participation in all internal and external audit programs
* People
o Provide leadership and direction for the business through recognition, coaching, and modelling desired behaviours
o Use awareness of individual strengths and skill gaps to drive personal growth and development
The Requirements:
* Suitable business qualification, with minimum 5 years' experience in managerial position and experience of business development including the identification and leveraging of new business opportunities
* International work experience within Singapore, some of which is in the commercial education sector
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate effectively in English with English-speaking stakeholders
* Excellent understanding of sales and marketing principles and demonstrated ability to apply them successfully. Result-driven with ability to operate in highly competitive environment.
* High level of business acumen combined with good knowledge of the commercial environment
* Experience in working in dynamic global environment
