Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is one of the top Electrical and Electronics companies, headquartered in Japan. With a strong sense of care for their employees as they strive for work-life balance and great reputation in giving the best support to their customers in the field, they have a sturdy presence in the Semiconductor market. They are also a great stepping stone to those just starting out. They are actively looking to hire a Training Specialist to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Support the Technical Training team
* Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
* Translate requirements into trainings that prepares employees for the changing needs
* Develop and update annual training program, teaching plans, production of handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals
* Facilitate structured learning experiences, monitor and assess training effectiveness
* Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to reflect current trend or requirements
* Maintain training records
* Coordinate internal and customer equipment training request (through internal system), ensuring instructors, technical equipment and related resources are available
* Monitor and plan refresher courses for staff members
* Update and maintain budgets for all costs associated with training and provide expenditure report
* Responsible for general administrative duties such as coordinating enrolment, scheduling class times, locations and sending invitation information to trainees
* Other duties as assigned

The Requirements:

* Minimum Diploma in Business Studies / Training with 1 year of relevant experience in training support
* Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
* Meticulous and resourceful team player
* Independent and self-motivated individual, able to work with little supervision
