Job Description

Our Client:
Our client is a wholesale distributor of Motor Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Parts with its headquarters in Japan. They have subsidiaries all over the world such as England, Russia, Middle East, and SEA. They are actively looking for an Accounting & HR Assistant Manager to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible for all the Accounting related matters as well as HR, Audit and Admin duties of the company
* Closing Schedule (Progress Management)

○ Reviewing of the monthly local closing and ensuring all entries are in good order

* Payment Management

○ Reviewing of all outgoing payment to trade supplier and non- trade supplier

* Reporting - to Managing Director and Head Office in Japan

○ Prepare monthly management report and submit report into the STRAVIS system
○ Liaising with Japan HQ for accounts related matters

* Audit - work with audit firm for coordination

○ In-charge of all audit work (internal and external) and tax matters with KPMG
○ In-charge of transfer pricing documentation with PWC and ensure compliance

* Budget Planning

○ Responsible for doing yearly and quarterly budget to STRAVIS

* Human Resources

○ Responsible of human resources - recruitment, organising of yearly company trip, leave management and submission of IR8A for all staff and other ad hoc HR duties
○ In-charge of salary payment, CPF submission and staff claim

* External coordination and negotiation

○ Liaising with the secretary for company secretary work

○ Liaising with IT company and head office on the installation and updating of IT equipment

The Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting & HR function
* Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing / Trading Industry would be advantageous
* Someone with work experience in a Japanese company and using IFS accounting system would be preferred
* Self-motived individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Computer literate to use accounting system and Microsoft Office
