Our Client:
Our client is a pioneering leader in the region, focusing on consultancy, training and thought leadership, in the suitability and ESG space. They are founded in Singapore and their workforce is multicultural and working in different parts of the world.
They are aggressively expanding their team globally to tap on to the ever-growing ESG and sustainability space and are actively looking to hire a Sustainability Consultant to join them.
The Responsibilities:
* Oversee international consulting projects involving sustainable procurement and supplier sustainability
* Assess sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement
* Develop KPI dashboards to monitor and analyze sustainability data
* Collaborate with clients to enhance their sustainability management using industry-accepted standards and methods
* Provide recommendations to clients regarding ESG policies, risk assessments, and other strategies to elevate their sustainability scorecard
* Manage project plans to ensure accurate and timely delivery
* Facilitate supplier sustainability training sessions and workshops
* Efficiently and effectively collaborate with clients and a global team to successfully complete projects
* Contribute to business development and marketing efforts
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant fields such as Sustainability, Economics, Law, Public Relations, Environment Management, or Environmental Engineering is necessary
* Excellent project management abilities are essential
* Given the nature of the role, the candidate must have an excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English and with knowledge of business writing is required
* Preferably bilingual in both English or Thai or Japanese and/or Chinese to be able to liaise effectively with native Thai/Japanese/Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
* Strong expertise in data management, statistical analysis, and presentation
* In-depth knowledge of various supplier sustainability frameworks and standards is required
* Experience in supplier sustainability audits, including SA8000, WRAP, SMETA, EcoVadis, and RBA is preferred. It is an added advantage to have external auditor or consulting experience in management system certifications like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
* Must be able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced international, multicultural environment with multiple demanding deadlines
