Our Client:
Our client is the leading maritime technology company around the world. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Assist in all billings (customers, vendors), major duties in Accounts Receivable, and minor duties in Accounts Payable
* Assist in credit control matters, credit evaluation of new customers and periodic credit review of existing customers
* Conduct AR meeting with Sales team, follow up to do lists, and issue demand letter to customers
* Assist in AP payment planning, closing of AR/ AP sub-ledger in timely manner
* Prepare AR/ AP reconciliations, billing to companies, reconciliation of balances
* Familiar with revenue recognition under IFRS15 and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) under IFRS9
* Assist in government audit, schedules relating to AR/ AP and assessment of doubtful debts
* Assist in system improvement projects and streamlining of processe
* Assist in other duties as may be assigned
The Requirements:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience
* Proficient in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
* Team player, good communication skills, both in written and verbal
* Meticulous, well organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Hardworking, initiative, able to supervise and guide the team
