Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a world leading energy corporation predominantly in oil and gas. They are actively looking for a Trading Analyst for their business process design, evaluation, and driving process improvement in Asia Trading Crude Supply and Trading/ Product Supply and Trading/Natural Gas Liquids Business.

The Responsibilities:

* Understand key business objectives and strategies, identify and document key business capability needs and requirements, and identify gaps or improvement opportunity areas, with special focus on trading process improvement for front-mid-back office
* Drive clarity and alignment with business stakeholders for a bias to action
* Develop plan with goal to eliminate redundant processes and build process efficiency
* Identify and evaluate various people centric (updated training, etc.), process focused (simplify or adjust business process, etc.), or technology enabled approaches and solutions (enhancements to existing IT application or new tool) for implementation to address business needs, taking into consideration front-mid-back office workflow
* Engage closely with Product Owners, business and functional users, and Scrum team to support the writing, refinement, and testing of user stories that deliver high business value, demonstration of key processes and how they relate to application functionality to stakeholders, and on-going improvement efforts. Follow Agile/SAFe methods
* Develop and deliver training and documentation to ensure the proper & effective use of S&T IT tools by the various business users. Support Change Management efforts to build and sustain organizational capability within S&T business users
* Lead, Participate and engage in efforts to drive modernization, work and process simplification, and new tool integration. Develop monitoring tool and provide impact analysis of innovation/new tool to report value capture. Perform lookback and gauge user adoption on improved processes and new system functionalities/ tool deployed in the region. When needed, lead projects/initiatives from start to completion

The Requirements:

* Align & Inspire - Ability to lead through influence and collaboration and effect change across a complex PSAT/CSAT operation in Asia
* Excellent communication skill on trade-off between different teams so as to synthesize differences
* Build Relationships - Ability to develop relationships across functions, groups, and teams to build trust and collaborate effectively
* Grow Capabilities - Ability and willingness to learn and build competence and grow mastery in understanding the various business processes from trading front - mid - back office, people, and the different technology solutions
* Ability to work with others to grow their capabilities and mastery in S&T tools
