Our client is a global data centre provider headquartered in Singapore, they are actively looking for a talented individual to join their exceptional finance team and take charge of a pivotal role with global impact!
As the overseer of reporting and consolidation for their Group's diverse subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures across multiple regions, you'll play a crucial role in shaping their financial landscape.
Collaborating closely with finance teams in each region, you'll not only review their numbers but also provide expert guidance on accounting treatment and ensure alignment with the Group's accounting policies. The Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth reviews of reporting from regional subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures, skilfully consolidating their results
* Delve into the financial performance of various regions, tracking and analyzing critical financial and operational metrics
* Contribute to the preparation of compelling monthly and quarterly group reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
* Serve as a valuable resource for the finance teams in the regions, providing expert guidance on accounting treatment
* Demonstrate your expertise by drafting insightful accounting papers to address and resolve accounting issues
* Maintain compliance with SFRS(I) and any emerging accounting developments by regularly aligning and updating the Group's accounting policies
* Play an integral role in preparing the year-end Group consolidated accounts and collaborate with external auditors as needed
* Support the integration of new systems and the alignment of the chart of accounts on SAP S/4 HANA Group Reporting, along with financial and operating metrics
* Immerse yourself in key initiatives initiated by Group Finance and contribute your skills to various ad hoc projects
The Requirements:
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and holds a Chartered Accountant certification
* Has accumulated a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, which includes valuable experience in Big 4 audit
* Demonstrates exceptional English language proficiency and exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling confident interactions with both English-speaking internal and external stakeholders
* Has hands-on experience in Group Consolidation and financial reporting, showcasing a strong grasp of accounting standards and the ability to navigate complex accounting matters, providing valuable guidance to relevant stakeholders
* Exhibits adaptability and independence, thriving in a dynamic, and in a fast-paced work environment
* Possesses strong organizational skills, displaying meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
* Additional experience in US SEC reporting is considered advantageous
* Demonstrates proficient Excel skills and familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA will be seen as a valuable asset
