Our client stands as a prominent global owner and operator of maritime transportation assets and specialised offerings, and they are looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions and enhancing financial performance. As a key player in their central Finance reporting function, you'll collaborate with dynamic business units, contribute to building a standardized reporting process, and provide invaluable insights for sustainable growth.

The Responsibilities:

* Craft monthly financial reports that illuminate the Group's financial performance, offering a clear roadmap for success
* Uncover trends and potential opportunities through thorough analysis, ensuring a proactive approach to any challenges
* Maintain data integrity by conducting meticulous quality checks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of published reports
* Collaborate on the Group's annual budgeting activities, influencing targets and fostering seamless communication across departments
* Shape the future of reporting by designing innovative business reports and enhancing existing ones, all tailored to meet evolving business needs
* Play a central role in coordinating monthly P/L and cashflow forecasts, driving a forward-looking financial strategy
* Empower decision-making by reporting KPIs/KRIs, providing insightful variance analysis, and offering a fresh perspective to internal stakeholders
* Assist with Board deliverables, presenting Group numbers, and delivering impactful insights
* Bring your subject matter expertise to the forefront, supporting finance, project teams, and business stakeholders with your insights
* Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of management reporting figures
* Tackle exciting challenges head-on, providing ad hoc business modeling and analysis that drive innovative projects and proposals
* Be a driving force in producing decision-support analysis as requested by their forward-thinking management team

The Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Business, or a related field
* Accomplished CPA/CA designation would be an advantage
* Proven track record of 3 to 4 years in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ideally within the context of large global MNCs
* Keen understanding of the financial drivers within the Shipping/Tanker Industry
* Exceptional business analysis, data analysis, and information management skills
* Proficiency in Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and advanced formulas, along with mastery of PowerPoint and Word
* Experience working with and analyzing substantial data sets
* Hands-on exposure to prominent ERPs like Oracle and SAP, as well as business intelligence tools like Hyperion Enterprise, Essbase, TM1 or Power BI
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that bridge gaps and forge connections
* Ability to cultivate relationships at all levels and the knack for productive collaborations
* Strong problem-solving and robust analytical skills
