About the Role:
This position is a member of an established ASPAC team, which is dedicated to delivering top-notch customer experiences and capabilities to Health Care Professionals (HCP) through both face-to-face and digital interactions within a Product-Centric operational framework.
The main objective of this position is to work closely with business and technology partners throughout the ASPAC region to project their CRM vision and implement Event Management and Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) product features within the current Veeva and Salesforce.com ecosystem.
The role will collaborate closely with Business Product Owners, regional Technology Leaders, Architecture, and Technology services teams to enhance customer engagement capabilities in alignment with business strategic goals. This role will oversee the execution of technology initiatives at the single country, multi-country, and AP regional levels, including vendor management, gathering requirements, planning releases, and managing the technical application life cycle.

Technology Responsibilities
* A "technology expert" proficient in various technology solution areas, analyzing significant technology trends and their impacts on diverse business processes. Identify opportunities for technology to drive results
* Takes the lead in defining a clear product vision, responsible for a multi-generational product strategy, and maximizes value by prioritizing product features based on their business value
* Cultivates relationships with external agencies, partners, suppliers, and customers to gain deep insights into the needs of their business departments, patients, customers, markets, and communities, becoming the primary point of contact for their business and technology partners
* Acts as a technology product leader, collaborating with business partners to uncover unmet needs, propose solutions, and contribute to the development of business cases and product/project charters
* Bears the responsibility of advocating and setting an example for Agile methodology in product development, including elements like Product Roadmaps, Product Backlogs, Scrum, and Sprint meetings
* Conducts Business Analysis, including mapping out business processes, capturing business requirements and specifications (such as storyboards and use cases), and supporting their translation into technical requirements
* Identifies pain points in processes and early improvement opportunities, creating business cases for improvement initiatives that consider impact, feasibility, and required investment. Develops implementation plans for these initiatives, including timelines, ownership, and key milestones
* Maintains a regional/global perspective on technology solutions, building a strong understanding of business practices in other countries through a network of IT colleagues to leverage or create standardized solutions where applicable
* Proactively aligns business needs with existing technology capabilities by showcasing local/regional best practices to key stakeholders, encouraging the adoption of core systems, and emphasizing their value in a business context
* Offers rapid prototyping and conceptual designs when requirements are unclear or unproven
* Ensures proper management, valuation, and protection of information and assets in accordance with Information Asset Protection and Compliance policies
* Manages budgets effectively, optimizing the application portfolio and operating costs to continually drive business value
The Requirements:
* At least 10 years of Information Technology experience and experience managing cross-functional teams within large corporate settings
* Strong familiarity with the platforms and technologies integral to the Pharmaceutical CRM ecosystem, such as Veeva platforms, Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud, Event Management, and SalesForce Effectiveness (SFE)
* A robust understanding of related technical domains like Digital Engagement (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sitecore/websites, and mobile apps), Content Lifecycles (including Veeva Vault and Modular Content), and Data Analytics/Data Science will be highly preferred
* A well-established track record of delivering successful projects within a complex, global organization is essential
* A keen comprehension of the business consequences of different solutions and the ability to evaluate and communicate the trade-offs between business requirements, technology needs, project timelines, costs, and risks is essential
* A solid working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, including requirements gathering, system design, development, and validation/regulatory compliance
* Prior experience with healthcare solutions designed for engaging with doctors, caregivers, or patients, whether through in-person or digital channels, is good to have
