Our Client:
Our client is a well-established Automobile Leasing and Financing company, headquartered in Japan. They are currently looking for a Business Support & Analytics Specialist to join their team in Singapore. Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers
The Responsibilities:
Analytical & Reporting Support:
• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas) to support various business analyses and projects
• Prepare and refine detailed reports, summaries, and presentations using Microsoft
• PowerPoint for internal stakeholders, reflecting key findings and strategic recommendations
• Support the creation of forecasting models, performance dashboards, and other analytical tools as needed
Operational & Administrative Support:
• Handle a wide range of administrative tasks crucial for daily operations, such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, organizing documents, and coordinating logistics
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice processing
• Manage and organize shared drives, databases, and information systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Coordinate communication and workflows between various departments, often bridging language and cultural differences, especially with Japanese stakeholders
• Support onboarding of new team members, prepare materials, and ensure smooth integration
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to administrative and operational processes
Communication & Liaison
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external inquiries, particularly those involving Japanese language communication
• Translate documents and communications (Japanese-English and English-Japanese)
• Foster strong working relationships with team members, management, and external partners

Requirements

The Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable work experience in large, established Japanese corporations, ideally in a support, operations, or analytical role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including a strong command of VLOOKUP, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating professional, clear, and impactful presentations that convey complex information effectively
• Proven ability to manage diverse responsibilities, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high attention to detail even when handling routine tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for data and process improvement
• Proactive, resourceful, and a highly collaborative team player
• Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers
