Our Client is one of the top Japanese companies that offers Electronics device systems, scientific and medical systems. They are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Singapore. Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers.
The Responsibilities:
• Oversee business operations and inventory management for key accounts, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Lead communication efforts between local teams, the Japan team, and customers, focusing on Japanese key account representatives to ensure seamless coordination across regions.
• Identify and capitalize on customer requirements, uncovering growth opportunities, and driving business expansion in Southeast Asia (SEA) regions.
• Lead market research discussions with intelligence agencies to track business trends, technological advancements, price movements, and industry activities. Provide strategic insights to suppliers and customers to optimize strategies.
• Analyse and interpret customer demands, ensuring effective communication with suppliers to align with market needs.
• Manage various supply chain management projects, including organizing and facilitating trade exhibitions.
• Lead efforts in sourcing new suppliers in logistics and financial schemes, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable suppliers.
• Oversee the procurement team in Japan, including leading price negotiations and delivery timelines to ensure optimal purchasing conditions.
• Direct procurement processes for other group companies, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain objectives.
• ess Improvement and Automation:
• Develop and implement new solutions to improve operational processes and automate workflows, leveraging appropriate tools and technologies.
• Lead the management team in preparing budget reports, analysing financial data, and driving the achievement and improvement of KPIs such as cash flow and inventory management.
• Conduct and oversee inventory checks twice a year, collaborating with the Sales Administration Team to ensure accurate stock records and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead internal projects as assigned by management, providing strategic support for various initiatives across departments or teams
